About Us
After moving to the United States from Nepal to be with her husband in 1996, Julee Shrestha always wondered about introducing the typical Nepali and
Tibetan home style cooking that she loved to the community where she lived. After living in Wisconsin for over a decade, Julee and her husband Sudhir moved
here with their children and opened a casual, family friendly restaurant inspired by Nepali and Tibetan cuisine.
They named it Café Annapurna, after one of the Majestic Himalayan ranges located in north central Nepal. Café Annapurna brings the tastes and aroma
of Nepalese cooking to Tallahassee.
Together, with love and gracious support from their Uncle and Aunt, long time Tallahassee residents Nanda and Pam Shrestha , Julee and Sudhir Shresta
have been able to bring Julee's passion for cooking with traditional ingredients to Tallahassee. Julee's expertise comes from generations of experience passed
on to her at a young age.
Café Annapurna is a small, casual, and family oriented restaurant where high quality ingredients and expert cooking are coupled with a profound belief in
offering a comfortable and friendly dining experience. The intention is to provide you with the tastiest foods and utmost humble service with dedication, care and pride.
